If you are seeing this then you are an integral part of this journey and I need to share something honestly:
I won't lie, the last few months have been tough for me. Somewhere in between shooting nerf guns and eating only chicken breast, I lost my passion for making videos. I can't tell you how many days I spent staring at my computer not sure if I still had the drive still within me... and for the first time in my life, I almost walked away from this dream completely.
I have wanted so badly to succeed (to have every video get millions of views) that I lost sight of what really matters. I think I felt (and sometimes still feel) like I wouldn't be good enough, or earn my place in this world, until I was successful. Because of this, I have picked stories based on what I think will get views, I have cut people out of videos because I thought it would be better for the story, I have ignored praise from those who matter in pursuit of seeking validation from millions of strangers. In short, I have lost sense of why I do this.
I started this channel to share myself and my stories with the world. I created this mission as a pursuit to tell stories that expand people's minds and bring people together. And most importantly I wanted you here with me so I can have fun and make memories that can last a lifetime. These things that I have lost sight of, are what really matter on this journey. A journey I want you to be a part of.
So with that, I am launching Season 1 of Challenge Normal. 8 unique episodes that I am so excited about. And the idea is that with a season, we can just create. Focusing on filming and bringing these ideas to life, for us. And then, when they are all done, they can be released to the public.
I'll probably still check the views and might have a depressive episode in there, but until that moment I will enjoy what we are creating.
